I LOVE LEAVES!!!!

Had to share that! Our favourite tree on 19 hills has lost it leaves and mum had to explain to dad, my head burrowing in the leaves is my version of Mi throwing them in the air :)

I have not been well, I have had an eye infection the last week but its finally cleared up. Mum says it was pink eye but I don't know why its called that, it was painful! More than one morning mum had to pry my eye open first thing, mi kept doing pirate impressions I am guessing she was taking the micky!!

Mum treated it with cold tea, and it worked, bugger paying the devil £30 quid to get eye drops!

Mini moos been poorly this weekend, shes had a bad cough and stinking cold so I have been on mutt guard to look after her.

Not much else to report been a typical week!

So here is a poem to pass the time.

This week I have been a pirate,
Eye gunked shut argh ha ha, yo ho!

I have dragged mum through the mud
Twisted her ankle boy she did cuss

Ploughed through the leaves
My version of toss game I guess

Mum won an award for her volunteering
yes it true
She even  bought me chicken home from the buffet
It was delicious.

Showed dad my retrieve skills
With my tennis ball and flinger
He watched as mum launched
And I fetched
I am getting better you see!

Hey yall!

Mums been remiss with my blog I am so very sorry, one cannot get the staff these days.

Well, let me see what has happened, my bottom is fine now, although if the toys are down I hide in the kitchen, I simply do not like the sight of them.

Not much has occurred in the time since my last blog, Myself mum and little Mi held the two minute silence, although mum had to explain to Mi why we did it. I think it is very respectful I paws-ed for the fallen animals, as they work just as hard as humans.

The fireworks have been on going but now seemed to have stopped, mum and dad did sparklers with Mi, they looked very very pretty and not nearly as noisy as the big bangy things in the sky.


 We had a lovely frost mid week and I had awesome time ploughing around in it and sneezing when icicles went up my nose. Mum was taking her time photographing mushrooms so I ate them, well it was the only right thing to do when her attention was taken away from me!!

We meandered up through the woods and went to see aunty Haylie, mums FSW who is very nice.


The rest of the week followed in the normal fashion, although Mi and I got very muddy when mum got distracted it was FUN (Sprite I will send you the bills but mum I have no money!!)

Friday, dad was off which meant one and only thing WALKIES!! 

We decided after Mi got home, to adventure somewhere new, well, we have been to part of the place before, but not to this awesome bit.

We  Mum decided that we should pop to the woods of Tredeger park, and I am glad she did. I got to play with new friends, Monty a Patterdale, Keira a Staffy (i was a perfect gent to her, she was very pwetty dont tell shadow!) luna the loony cockapoo , Teddy a lickle squeaky pup and lola a golden retriever. Dad was going mad, but as soon as mum shouted 'whats this?' I came running! Dad was miffed but I played and played and played I loved it and we are going again.

Mum got me a bag of bones from our butcher yesterday AJ Wilding and Kent, they are lovely.

I am sat with mum next to her on the sofa, slobering on her foot. A lovely lady will be posting a story about me on facebook shortly so watch this space :)

Seems to be popular on fli-kr, I swear that site is spelt strange. Mum uses it to share photos of me,my sis and other stuff she takes pictures of. There really is no need for her to take pictures of other things I am surely enough!

Any ways,I was getting annoyed yesterday afternoon as mum was taking her time getting ready to go out for my walk, she swears it was Mi's fault. My sister is pretty blameless to me so it was mums fault.

I started to nudge her endlessly to get up, but she wouldn't shift instead she got the camera out and started to take my picture, like loads!

I guess one must be good, as its got loads of 'hits' on flickr, why do people hit screens? Seems senseless and just a little dumb? (Sprite, hits means people clicking on and viewing a photo not actually hitting a screen)

We finally went for our walk and had an awesome time running, jumping and splashing. It was great fun until I lost my tennis ball :( No amount of fishing could find it. Mum said we had a spare at home, so Mi and I gave up and came home.

This morning it was very cold but mum said the light was awesome for photography so off we went, and she was right it was to cold to swim but wonderful to run round and  see all my tracks in the frosty dew.

Right my humans must take me out I have just been to find my ball!

Being nurse

My little sister is ill today, she has got a high temp and is coughing. She wasnt right yesterday after school but we all thought she was just tired.

So I am having a day of being the best big bro, mum has said shes going to make me a red cross bandana to wear on days like today.

Mum had to tell me off yesterday, I like sausage rolls they are lovely! We were walking to the shops to go and get electric and gas on the way to fetch Mi, two girl where walking past with sausage rolls, lovely hot, yummy smelling hmmmmmmmmmm SPRITE FOCUS! Sorry mum, anyway I wanted a try and tried to jump up, but mum pulled me down with a short sharp no and bad dog, she had found my slip lead (buried in my bed basket) and so I was under her control! I remained in her bad books as I was barking at the kids, but someone pointed out the kids had been winding me up and stomping on my tail mum was livid (whats that? I have heard of Liver, but not livid).

Because of this mum let me have a good run off the lead on 19 hills, and with all the rain the ponds where really really deep, Mi kept trying to jump in too, but they are MY puddles so I kept splashing her.
Mum took mi and I leaf hunting yesterday afternoon, i loved it I was picking up acorns and giving them to Mi, slightly chewed but the thought was there. Mi picked up absoloutley loads, and because we had the storm the other night there where a few branches down too which came home with us.

Mum got very annoyed, not at me, at the oven and the food, it was taking for bleeding ever to cook it was the potatoes again causing issues!  It did smell lovely all chickeny and belly rumblingly good. I didnt get any but I had been having scraps all day.

Mums taught me a new trick this morning, dad needed some clean socks and knows my fetish for carrying them in my mouth, she gave the clean ones to carry down and I gave them to dad, and released them no arguing and only went a got a bloomin custard cream!!!!! At the moment i am lying on the floor next to little sis whilst she watches tv i think shes fallen asleep........................................
