Wounds run deep

Unfortunately it appears despite sprites physical wounds healing it appears the biggest injury is in his head.

He won't be left, any small noise freaks him out and he's going crazy when tied up outside shops.
His playing is fine now as we had an impromptu play date with Doug the Neapolitan mastiff. This got him to play very happily and away from me!

The police have taken the incident seriously and will be helping us find the man. When I meet other dog walkers I warn them about that man and to watch out for him.

Adams home now and he seems to have relaxed somewhat but is still not completely calm.
I will keep you loyal fans updated on how things go. Slow and steady baby steps.

I DID NOT DESERVE THIS!

Hey fans!
Sorry for another gap, so my mums fault! I forgive her because mini moo has had hand foot and mouth and been ill herself. It was epic! She had no voice for 48 hours (epic for you Sprite, but not for me!) and Amelia and I ran a mock!!

I got given some sweeties by auntie Steph yesterday, little treat sticks of yummyness, I like  Steph she lovely :)

Well nothing much has happened up until yesterday, which is when I learnt scrounging a chilli out of the bin was a bad idea!

Poor mum had to clean projectile puke at 11 pm, she was not impressed! I hope you have learnt your lesson Sprite.....

Today though was awful :(

Amelia finally felt up to taking me for a proper walk, mums been doing round the blocks or up the shops for the last few days because mi has not felt up to going far.

So off we went up to the dog field.

First we met Monty a 6 month old choc lab, who jumped up at mi and scared her. Mum was holey unsympathetic as I have done it to mi to many times to count.

Mum gave her my flinger to carry to make her feel better and to get to walk. We toddled to the ponds for a swim and they started my retrieve training. Out of the corner of my eye I caught site of a very very small dog, who was a french bulldog cross something she was dinky but boy knew how to play. I didnt bargain on her big brother though, Tonto an American Bulldog cross who was all muscle. Aww it was grand the little one was called Pixie, mum wanted to sneak her home she was in love.

However, I did not deserve what happened next.

Turning for home a man came onto the field from bishpool end with 2 staphies on a lead, I bounded up to say hi, as I do. He only went and feckin kicked me! So hard its bruised.

Mum got Tonto and I back and hadnt realised I had been injured until later, She and Tontos mummy wanted us away from the bad nasty man.

Why he was walking his dogs on a dog field and didnt want them to socialise is beyond mums scale of stupidity!!

19 Hills is a well known dog walking spot, and dogs are normally off the lead because its been a dog field for time in memoriam. People walk there dogs there because they can let them socialise and burn off energy, they do not expect there dogs to be harmed, yeah sure the odd bite wound from over exuberance and scratched from bush diving are part n parcel of the walk. But for a human to harm a dog in this fashion is not normal. I feel sorry for the man if he has issues, but I feel more sorry for his dogs. They seemed lovely friendly animals and wanted to play with sprite and Tonto.
Sprite is a companion dog and if he is injured he cannot carry out his duties because he is in pain, as it is he has slept most of the afternoon and laid next to Mi.
I really hope the man hangs his head in shame!

Not the best pic, and its a bit stretched out but you try getting a lab to sit still!!
